Intellitracker Donate Decommissioned Servers and Computer Hardware to Charity

Following a major infrastructure upgrade, Intellitracker has donated a large number of decommissioned servers and other computer hardware to Computer Aid International. It will be refurbished and sent to Africa for use in schools, colleges and hospitals.

Over the last 6 months Intellitracker has undertaken a major upgrade to its infrastructure in order to improve resilience and reporting speed.  The new hardware uses less power and takes up less space allowing Intellitracker to continue its rapid growth and consolidate its position as the UK's number 1 web analytics provider.

The old servers and hardware have been cleaned, data-wiped, tested and finally presented to Computer Aid International (www.computeraid.org). Computer Aid International are a charity who specialise in providing ICT equipment to schools, hospitals and not for profit organisations in Africa and South America.

Commenting on the donation, Mark Wilding, Operations Director at Intellitracker said "We are thrilled to be able to extend the life of these servers in this way.  Computer Aid International provide an invaluable service to worthy organisations in need. It is great to know that this equipment will be put to such good use."
